Definition:  Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in women. It is characterized by the growth of malignant cells in the mammary glands. Breast cancer can strike males and females, although women are about 100 times more likely to develop the disease. (Britannica)

Medicare.gov - Mammography Information  The government's Medicare site provides a number of information resources that might be useful to those dealing with illness and disease.
Breast Health information is provided by the Office on Women's Health through the Department of Health and Human Services.  This site details the National Action Plan on Breast Cancer set-up to encourage research and medical advances in the area of breast cancer. 
The National Cancer Institute's Cancer Information Service   is a national information and education network. CIS is a free public service of the Nation's primary agency for cancer research.
